Buck officially left for Iraq yesterday. Needless to say it was a very emotional day. We had a very nice time together before he left though. Mackenzie and daddy got lots of play time together and Buck and I got to go out for dinner and a movie Friday night. Buck called me this morning from Bangor, Maine. The plane was stopping to refuel and then they were headed to Kuwait. They should be there around 6pm (Central time) tonight, which is early Monday morning there. His unit has some training to do there and the mechanics have to get the helicopters up and running and then they will fly into Iraq. They will probably be in Kuwait for a couple of weeks or so.
